The School is located in Coloane, adjacent to the Panda Park nature reserve and the One Oasis residential complex (on the Sky Oasis side). It is comprised of 5 floors plus a roof, spanning across more than 13,000 m2. Construction of the building was completed at the end of 2022, when the building was handed over to the School´s founding entity. Fit-out of the building was done in 2 phases:
▶ Phase 1 completed by the 4th quarter of 2023, including the G/F (Kindergarten, music room, clinic) and 1F (Lower Primary, canteen, 216-seat state-of-the-art auditorium) and outdoor areas.
▶ Phase 2 to be completed by 4th quarter of 2024, including the 2F (Higher Primary and library), 3F (Lower Secondary and indoor gym), 4F (Higher Secondary), 5F (physics, chemistry and biology labs and specialty rooms for arts, music, languages, STEAM, wood craft, soft craft) and roof.
As a student-focused environment, maximum attention to detail and quality has been given, with the choice of ergonomic and sustainable classroom furniture, namely from Finland.
School space is planned with the utmost flexibility in such as way as to make every space a potential learning space. Leisure and sports areas follow this philosophy, with all equipment being movable and non-stationary. Playgrounds are composed of movable items which can be used both indoors and outdoors and which promote students´ creativity and team spirit, with a return to the roots of playing and socialising: the company we are in and our imagination are what provides us most fun and relaxation. In order to benefit from the privilidged location, classes will frequently be held outdoors, be it within the school´s premises or in the nature reserve which is considered by GENERATIONS as a beautiful extension of its learning environment.
