Primary Years Programme (PYP)* is a transformative, world-class, inquiry-led framework for students aged 3 to 12, spanning Early Years (K1 through K3) all the way through to Primary P1 to P6. It nurtures curious, confident, and caring learners who become active contributors to their own education and the world around them.

The PYP provides essential learning grounded in Finnish-inspired Educational Philosophy, the IB Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning, 6 essential Subject Areas, and 6 broad Transdisciplinary Themes.

IB Learner Profile

The IB Learner Profile features 10 characteristics that our whole community embraces inside and outside the classroom.

We support all members of our learning community to be:

Developing these learner traits helps children become stronger students and kinder people overall.

In our classrooms, young learners freely explore, ask questions, and uncover the world in a space that values their curiosity, creativity, and unique selves. Our trilingual programme—fully immersed in English, Portuguese, and Chinese with native-speaking teachers—builds vital communication skills right from the start, while deepening cultural awareness.

The Early Years (K1-K3) follows a play-based, inquiry-driven curriculum rooted in the IB PYP. It supports well-rounded growth across social, emotional, physical, and thinking skills through hands-on, connected learning. Children dive into engaging units of inquiry via small-group play and activities matched to their stage, gaining independence, teamwork, and real-world understanding.
